This year, we're honored to rename the race the James 'Frenchy' Lambert Memorial Trot Thru the Woods, in tribute to former Warson Woods resident James Lambert (affectionately known as Frenchy), one of the founders of the race 15 years ago. James passed away earlier this year after an illness. His vision and dedication helped build Trot Thru the Woods into the community tradition it is today. We're grateful that his son, Harry, continues that legacy by helping coordinate race logistics and police support each year, and we're proud to carry the French name forward with every runner who crosses the finish line.

T-shirts are guaranteed to all 5K registrants who sign up before November 1st. We'll order a limited number of extra shirts for later registrants, so register early to guarantee your size. Please note: shirts are only available to 5K registrants. Kids Fun Run participants who'd like a shirt will need to register for the 5K instead.

All events take place at Royal Oak Park in Warson Woods.
There is no parking available at Royal Oak Park on race day. Parking is available behind Warson Woods City Hall — from there, it's a short walk downhill to the race site. (See map for parking details) There is also no street parking on Warson Woods Drive between Renderer and Andrew.
Due to road construction in Warson Woods, we'll be using a modified course again this year. See the course map tab for details.
A photographer will be on-site, with photos posted as soon as possible after the event. And of course, the famous running turkey will make an appearance!
Overall Male/Female winners will be recognized, along with medals for male/female winners in each age group for the 5k:
7 and Under, 8–10, 11–13, 14–19, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, 60+
All Kids Fun Run participants receive a finisher's medal!
